Happy September
They say you always remember “firsts” – first pet, first school, first address, first phone number...
When thinking of firsts for Impagination, I remember our first computer (MacPlus – yup that long ago), our first printer (dot matrix – pre-historic by today's standards) and first photocopier (used, but so fancy and expensive, I had to lease the beast).
My friends still remind me that I was so excited, I threw a party to welcome the photocopier. 🥳
Each tool offered greater possibilities and was well worth the investment, the learning curve and any celebrations. And knowing this, we continue to move forward.
What's new today?
Adding a Customer Relationship Management system, or CRM to the business many years ago (Filemaker) was a game changer, and one that has stood the test of time. Today we want more from our CRM, so we are integrating the new one into our business processes.
A colleague shared, “When selecting a CRM, you don’t date, you get married!” – Gulp. So, I investigated options and invested in the help of a consultant who could assess what we truly needed (this was key) and then another to help us set it up—we love our experts!
And now please welcome – marketing automation!
While we use our CRM primarily for sales purposes, we now use marketing automation as well to manage our marketing. We’ve found that integrating the two is a great boost to our business efficiency and improves the client experience.
We all want less repetitive work, right? Or is that just me? 😎
Look for our monthly newsletter in a few days where one of our smart and savvy clients shares how she uses automation to gain back time and track wins in her business, while optimizing client engagement.
